Today I ran seven on some up and down gorgeous paths in a city/state park. My knee was really strong after the summer training and I didn't feel it at all during the triathlon but it's a little sore from the continuous up and down. The first time I did hills once I had started running again, going down the hills bothered it but a week or so later, it was fine and when we next did hills, the going down wasn't an issue. I imagine that's how it is and so after taking a week off, my knee hasn't been used to the pounding but soon will be again. It feels good.
This blog will follow my journey, hopefully following His plan..

Starting up
Yesterday I ran an easy five around Upper Arlington Columbus, I felt pretty light on my feet but certainly felt as though I hadn't worked out in a week, not out of shape, just out of practice. It seems strange to say that you could be out of practice for running, but I think when I don't run for any period, it gives me the opportunity to learn how to do it again and therefore grow more comfortable. Additionally I feel as though I'm starting fresh and can make any changes in my form that I'd been thinking about more easily.
